It’s my favorite time of year again. Fucking Labor Day. I, Jimmy Oasyc, reunited with Dalton Wheeler for an epic jam once again. And I’m re-releasing a demo in preparation for Labor Day. Dalton and I met each other in kindergarten, played youth football together, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live in our high school days. After running into each other again on a Discord server, we’ve decided to cross our urine streams again in 2020 and record Jimmy’s Labor Day. Although he hasn’t accepted the offer to join OASYC, Dalton is part of the elusive Hypersonic VIP Club.

Jimmy’s Labor Day tells a story inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. This story is set in California. It involves the protagonist of the song making a bit of money from some activities that could possibly get him in legal issues. He decides to dip out with the cash on Labor Day to have a day out at the beach, where he gets a handy and some top. Some might call it making love. When I first started writing the song in July 2020, the United States was in a major lockdown due to COVID-19. I simply wanted a break and go back to Thailand or at one point I even thought about hiding out in Columbia.
